Principal's Message

Welcome to our school! We believe that parent participation is key to student success; our new website is designed to provide parents with all the information they need to be active participants in their student’s education. You will find that the site works just as well on mobile devices as it does on a desktop so you can find information on the go.

About Us

Who we Are Image

Who we Are

At the foundation of all that we strive to establish at Eagle are our C.L.E.A.R Core Values. There are four houses, each named after a prominent male that consistently exhibits confidence, leadership, effort, academic excellence and resilience in their respective fields of endeavor. Every scholar and staff member at Eagle Harlem is assigned a house. Houses are divided further into grade level advisories.

Our History

The Eagle Academy for Young Men of Harlem is the fifth school to open in the Eagle Academy family. The first Eagle Academy for Young Men opened in the fall of 2004 in the Bronx after admitting its first freshman class. From there, the Eagle Academy for Young Men has expanded beyond its initial Bronx roots, opening three additional schools in OceanHill/Brownsville Brooklyn, South Jamaica Queens, and Newark, New Jersey, all before the opening of the Harlem school. All schools are supported by the Eagle Academy Foundation, itself a result of the initial investment of a group of educators, parents, community leaders and corporate partners, led by the One Hundred Black Men, Inc.
